Questions

Do we need UTV experience?
No. Moab Rim Cyclery pairs experienced guides with each vehicle and covers safety briefing and terrain familiarization before the Needles run.
What's the fitness level required?
Moderate. The Chesler Park hike is 6 miles round-trip with 500 ft elevation gain; the UTV day is physically demanding but not technical.
Can we do this in shoulder season?
Yes. April, May, September, and October are ideal—summer heat exceeds 100°F in the Needles, and winter roads can be impassable.
