Tordrillo Mountain Lodge — the longest-operating heli-ski lodge in Alaska, run by U.S. Olympic ski medalist Tommy Moe. 40 minutes by floatplane out of Anchorage to a private 5,000-acre lodge fronting Judd Lake. Spring (March-April): heli-ski operations into the Tordrillo Range. Summer (June-September): the 'Kings & Corn' program — heli into Tordrillo glaciers in the morning for corn skiing on permanent snow, then float-plane to the Talachulitna for king salmon in the afternoon. Pilots average 5,000+ hours; lodge holds 14 guests max. All-inclusive: lodging, meals, drinks, helicopter, fishing gear, ski guides. Anchorage (ANC) connects.

Heli-ski experience required?
Strong intermediate to advanced. Off-piste skill set required. The lodge has lighter touring options for the crew that wants to fly in but not chase steep lines.
All-inclusive — really?
Yes. Lodging, all meals, beer/wine/spirits, helicopter time, ski/fish gear, guides. Tips and the floatplane transfer from Anchorage are à la carte.
Group buyout?
14 guests max. Smaller bachelor blocks (6-10) can co-occupy with another group; full lodge buyouts available at premium.
Vs Eleven Deplar Iceland?
Tordrillo is the 'dual-sport' Alaska program (ski + fish). Deplar is more polished (Nordic spa, Michelin-style dining). Tordrillo is the bushplane lodge with the harder-edge heli-ski reputation.
