Questions

How big a group can the lodge handle?
Lodge accommodates groups up to 440 at full buyout. A normal bachelor block is 6-12 suites with shared common space.
Is heli-ski actually doable from Stein?
Yes — Powderbird operates out of Park City with shuttle pickup at the lodge. Book 60+ days ahead in season.
Best time to go?
Mid-January through late-February — best snow, before the spring break crowds. President's Day weekend is a premium block.
Vs Vail/Beaver Creek?
Stein is mid-mountain with direct lift access — no village shuttle. SLC is 35 minutes vs DEN's 2 hours to Vail. More skiing, less driving.
