Questions

Is the UFO Museum actually good or a tourist trap?
Both — the lobby is kitsch (pose with the alien). The research room upstairs has primary documents from 1947 and is genuinely interesting. Allow 2 hours.
Best month?
April-May or September-October. UFO Festival (early July) is peak crowd / peak prices — the move only if the crew wants the festival.
Can you actually swim Bottomless Lakes?
Yes — Lea Lake is the swim lake (90 ft deep, $5 day-use). Cottonwood is dive-only with permits.
