Do we need reservations everywhere?
Jim's, Pat's, and Geno's are walk-up only and expect lines; go early or late. Zahav and Vernick require advance booking—plan 2-3 weeks out for weekend tables.
How much walking is involved?
Expect 3-4 miles over the weekend, mostly in South Philly and Center City. Comfortable shoes are non-negotiable.
