Catena Zapata + Trapiche + Bodega Norton — the Malbec triumvirate, all within 30 minutes of Mendoza city centre. Day two: vineyard horseback through Maipú with an asado lunch at the lodge (Andean grass-fed beef, the chimichurri is a religion). Day three: Aconcagua Provincial Park scenic drive (the highest peak in the Americas, 6,961m), back for the closing dinner at Casa Soriano (farm-to-table within a working vineyard). Sleep at Park Hyatt Mendoza or Entre Cielos (organic wine lodge). Mendoza (MDZ) is the gateway, 1 hour from Buenos Aires.

Aconcagua — climb?
No — that's a 14-21 day expedition for serious mountaineers. The bachelor weekend is the scenic drive into Aconcagua Provincial Park; pictures from the entry point at 2,800m. The drive is 90 minutes from Mendoza.
