Questions

Agafay vs Sahara?
Agafay is the rocky stone-desert 45 minutes from Marrakech — easy day trip, no flight or 10-hour drive needed. The actual Sahara dunes (Erg Chebbi, Merzouga) are a 10-hour drive east. The bachelor weekend uses Agafay; the bachelor week trip extends to Merzouga.
Jemaa el-Fnaa safety?
Crowded, intense, the bachelor crew should use a money belt and stay close. Hire a local guide for the medina maze ($50-100 for a half-day). The food stalls are universally clean — locals eat there.
Visa requirement?
US/UK/Canadian/Australian passports = 90-day visa-free entry. Passport must have 6 months remaining validity.
