Questions

Do we need reservations everywhere?
Red's and The Clam Shack are walk-up only; arrive early or expect a wait. Eventide and Fore Street require advance booking, especially weekends.
What's the ferry situation to Peaks Island?
Casco Bay Lines runs ferries from downtown Portland every 30 minutes; 15-minute ride, $3.50 per person. Five Islands Lobster Co is a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal.
Is this trip actually about eating lobster three days straight?
Yes. If anyone's vegetarian or shellfish-averse, this is not the trip. Fore Street and Tangled Up in Hue have non-seafood options, but you're here for the lobster.
