Is the bobsled actually fast?
Yes — production passenger ride hits 55+ mph through the Mt. Van Hoevenberg track. $30-50/person, books out in winter.
Is this winter-only?
No. Summer angle is hiking the High Peaks, fly fishing the Saranac, mountain biking. Winter is the bobsled / skiing window.
Cabin block sizing?
30 rooms + cabins on property. A 6-cabin block fits 12-14 comfortably with a shared common space.
Closest aviation?
Saranac Lake (SLK) takes private; Plattsburgh (PBG) for charters. Albany (ALB) is the commercial 2-hour drive.
