Day two: trap-shooting at the south meadow range, horseback up the bench above the springs, geothermal soak at sundown in the open-air pool. Day three: a private cattle drive on the high pasture before the slow drive back through Telluride. Decompression: New Sheridan bar in Telluride before the Cortez flight.
