Questions

What exactly is a fish boil?
A Door County tradition: fresh whitefish, potatoes, and onions boiled together in a massive kettle over a wood fire, then drained and served with melted butter and rye bread. It's theater and dinner combined.
Do we need bikes?
No. Rowleys Bay and most lodges rent bikes by the day, and the Peninsula State Park loop is 8 miles of flat, scenic riding—beginner-friendly.
When are the boils?
Pelletier's runs Thursday and Saturday nights year-round; Old Post Office does Friday and Saturday; Rowleys Bay runs nightly in summer. Call ahead to confirm.
